30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 6

HeyHey

Just a short post today as I'm still not feeling too great and just got home and as its 11pm I think I should go to bed soon!!

It seem's that my eye-makeup post is getting some interest, would you like me to do more makeup posts? (just to state I am not trained in makeup or anything like that, I just enjoy playing around a learnt a little bit when I was training as a photographer as I had to work with Makeup artists)

Anyways... Today's picture is from my lunch time! Mcdonald's yey! I go there every Thursday on my lunch break from college! don't know why, it was always monday before but then our timetable changed! bit of a tradition for my class!!:) This is my local shopping mall/foodcourt.. :)

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 5

Hey Hey

So for Day 5 my picture is.....

I know it's a kind of Christmassy candle, but it smells pretty so I'ma use it anyway :P The reason behind this picture is because today I've been feeling very stressed, emotional and a little bit poorly:( I have lots of things happening in the next month, and big changes to my life and its all getting a little bit much!! So sitting in the dark, watching youtube videos with candles is being my relaxation :P !

I'm currently still at college, however some lessons I am now behind in as we had to miss out on our lessons, to help other people do their work??? Which I think is stupid because now my assignment wont be done on time! then I leave in July... and I'm going to have to get a job. I know a lot of people my age and younger have jobs and manage to juggle both education and work but I can't. I'm a very big worrier, and having too much on my plate tends to make me just stop and do nothing. I've worked a little bit before as a christmas temp, but never a full time job, and the thought of getting one makes me very anxious. Doing something I don't know much about, meeting all these new people, worrying whether i'll be any good at it, plus I don't even know what I want to do! All I keep saying is "I want to be like Ugly Betty" because I would quite like to be a P.A like her, however I need to conquer one thing before I do that... PHONES! I'm useless on the phone!

So that's my main big thing that's weighing me down! All I want right now is to jump on a plane to Greece with my boyfriend and forget about everything. but hey that's not going to happen! Things are changing and me no likey! I want it to be how it used to be, nice and simple but no! So I'm going to have to conquer all of this one step at a time!! If anyone else has similar anxieties tell me how you overcome them, or even just message me if you need someone to talk to! I'd love to speak to some of my readers.

Anyways, I need to go to bed as I have an early start tomorrow and don't wanna be poorly!!

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 4 -- Smokey Eye!!

Hey Hey!!

Okay day 4's picture is a makeup one! My attempt at an 'everyday smokey eye' look

I do not use any expensive makeups as I'm a student and am poor so all my makeup is done with highstreet/drugstore brands! The eye shadow is actually from palettes you can buy from Argos called "Pretty In Pink" I have 2 palettes from them one is a flat rectangle one and the other is a large cylinder shape. The colours used for this look are from this palette - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4381000.htm

Although some people might be like shocked and horrified by the fact I use makeup from argos... I thought it would be awful, but there is actually a massive range of colours for a low price and I personally love it!!

If anyone would like a tutorial on how to get this look please message me or tweet me as I think it would be quite fun to do!!

A full shot of me with this eye makeup is below, as you can see it isn't too over the top for daytime use but adds a bit more to your daily look :)

Barry M Nail Varnish

2 posts in one day, aren't you lucky ;) I've not really worn this nail varnish much as honestly I didn't know if it really went with any of my outfits, i'm a bit obsessed with nail varnish and I often try if possible to coordinate it with clothing lol,  not sure if that's a bit weird or if other people do it to, let me know if you do so I don't feel like a loner!! This varnish doesn't seem to have a name on it anywhere? The sticker says "Superdrug Xmas" which makes me think it could have been a Christmas limited edition ? If anyone knows please comment and tell me because I would be quite interested to know!

Anyway, I have A LOT of nail varnish, and I'm always wanting to add to my collection, so far Barry M is one of my two favourite brands that are in the highstreet range because they really are a bargain for the quality that they are, they apply great coverage, I tend to do two coats, and they last a decent amount of time. However as I'm often very busy doing this and that, my nails do tend to chip, so I'm trying a couple of techniques; applying a bass and top coat, and painting the tip of the nail is supposed to help aswell, at first i thought that sounded really silly, but i assume they mean the literal edge of the nail tip. Any other tips would be very welcome!!

I'd love to do lots of comparisons of Nail Varnish as time goes on,but right now I cannot afford to go out buying lots of pretty things :( sad times!!

Haven't got much more to say on it other than that! Are there any other nail varnishes you recommend? Sorry if this isn't very detailed, I've not done beauty blogging before but I'll gt better in time!:)

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 3

Hey Hey!!

Today I spent 4 hours from 9 until 1 working in the recording suite at college, firstly setting up the equipment, and then recording all of the tracks for a band in my class as a part of the course I'm doing. I have to say it was INCREDIBLY stressful!!! Trying to set up 14 microphones and check that each one is working (and if its not - trying to work out what the problem is) and communicate with everyone, whilst people are missing around and not paying attention... very hard work! But eventually we did it and got the song laid down! Now  the next step is to mix it! Although next week it's my turn to do the performing so I might mix our track instead of another band's :)

I'm now sitting at home on my own, procrastinating... I have lots of assignments to be in, some that i didn't even know about until today! Woopsie! But I really don't know where to start, or have the will power to do anything after a 9-4 day at college, but it needs to be done! So anyway, must be off now! Feel free to drop me a message on here or twitter, would love to talk to some other bloggers :)

Hey Hey!!

So today I didn't really get up to a lot as my boyfriend spent pretty much the whole day washing his car.... snore!!! However the weather was pretty good so I joined him and sat outside in the sun :) So anyways, due to the lack of 'activity' today I haven't got anything new to write about particularly, other than back to college tomorrow... sad times !!

30 Day Snap Challenge - day 1

Hi hi!
Unfortunately I cannot write much today as I'm having to do this on my phone as I'm out exploring!
Today I've been with my boyfriend for 6 months, and we've decided to go on a road trip for the day to Milton Keynes, which is 100miles away from where we live. The weather's been gorgeous and we got very lost in the shopping centre! It's huge! Although I was gutted there wasn't a primark :(
